The sauna journey begins with a consultation in which we learn about your ideal design and style. The options are nearly endless. Whether you have an ideal design in mind, or you lean into our design expertise to guide the way, we can create a truly experiential sauna environment that fits seamlessly with your vision and lifestyle. Our team of professionals utilize CAD design to create 3D renderings of the sauna’s interior and exterior, providing a clear picture of the finished construction. We ensure that no matter what design you choose, your sauna experience will be thoughtful, restful, and rejuvenating.

Materials

Whether you lean towards the traditional or contemporary style, the rustic or the refined, we expertly combine the fit and finish of a multitude of wood options, metals, windows, and more. Materials impact both the look and the function of your sauna. We strongly encourage using only the finest Western Red Cedar in hot rooms to preserve the traditionally Finnish function and style of an authentic sauna experience. On other surfaces, you might choose to incorporate oak, bamboo, or reclaimed barn wood.

Timeline

We want you to experience your very own sauna as soon as possible. We also believe that your future experiences matter, and it’s worth taking the time to get things right. Because we build from fully customized designs rather than stock plans, our timeline depends on how long it takes to procure and incorporate select materials. Our general timeline is discussed and planned in advance. We work with transparency, keeping you in the loop from start to finish so you can know the progress of the build and when to expect sauna delivery.

Investment

Your sauna’s cost depends on its design — the cost of materials, and the time it takes to integrate each aspect into the build. Costs may vary substantially depending on the size, frame, types of wood, number of rooms and amenities, number and size of windows, wood-burning stove, and other factors. To start our project together, we’ll collect a design deposit, which is typically 10% of the build cost. A modest, fully-custom mobile sauna may be around $65,000. We ask for a 25% deposit at the beginning of our work together in order to secure a spot in our production calendar.
